Description
Set with Diamond (American Diamond) on Silver. Each stud holds a single square-cut cubic zirconia in a four-claw basket, the claws folded over the corners of the stone so the girdle stays clear and the setting reads as a solitaire rather than a rub-over.
The square cut runs its facets from the corners down to a point beneath, so the stones return light in short defined flashes as the head turns. The basket is left open underneath, letting light enter the stone from below as well as from the front.
The posts are threaded and fasten with screw backs, which hold each stud square to the ear through the day. Sold as a pair, and small enough to sit under a hoop or a second stud in a stacked ear.
