Layered Chains

Layering is usually the work of three clasps and some patience. These chains do it with one. Two or three strands of sterling silver are gathered at a single closure, each strand a different length, so the fall is already decided before the piece goes on. Several are tri-tone: rose-tone and gold-tone plating on one silver chain, contrast through material rather than ornament.
