Description
A fine box Italian chain (Venetian) carries a small polished ball (beads) at regular intervals along its length, each bead threaded onto the line rather than hung from it. The square links sit tight and flat, so the chain keeps its shape between stations instead of collapsing into a cord.
The beads are left high-polish while the box links catch light on four faces, which gives the chain an even, broken sparkle down its whole length rather than one bright edge. At 45 cm it falls just below the collarbone.
A spring ring closes it. The line is slim enough to layer beneath a shorter chain, and will carry a light pendant without the beads crowding the bail.
