Description
Several fine snake (Serpentina) chains in polished silver, gold-tone and rose-tone finishes are twisted together into one rope, so the three tones spiral around each other the whole way round. The twist is what gives the necklace its body: depth through construction rather than through a heavier gauge.
Every strand is diamond-cut, and the spiral turns those facets away from and back towards the light, so the rope reads as alternating bands of bright and shadow as it moves.
Tapered caps gather the strands at each end into a lobster clasp. At 45 cm it sits at the base of the throat, where the rope holds its own curve and stays clear of a neckline.
