Traditional Coiled Wire Adjustable Kada with Ghungroo as Charms

A plain round wire of sterling silver forms the band. Over the front half it is bound with tightly wound coils of finer wire, laid in blocks with short lengths of the bare band left showing between them. Three ghungroo bells hang from jump rings fitted into those gaps, each bell domed, granulated around the shoulder and slit at the base.

The coils are oxidised so the grooves read dark while the crown of each turn stays bright, and the front of the bangle carries a banded texture against the plain polish of the back half. Where the wire is left bare the surface returns light whole, which is what makes the coiled sections read as separate blocks rather than one continuous wrap.

The ends slide past one another through small collars, so the bangle sizes without a clasp and can be drawn close to the wrist. The bells sound quietly as the hand moves, the same ghungroo used on payal. A 925 stamp sits on the plain section of the band.
