Description
A single round pearl forms the belly of the seated Ganesha/Ganpait/Lambodar, held by four small cast claws that reach in from the trunk and the arms. The figure is built around it: the head and ears spread above, four arms open to either side, and the folded legs close beneath on a base cut in fine ribbing.
The silver is oxidised in the recesses and polished along the raised ridges, so the metal stays dark around a pearl that keeps its own lustre. The setting is open behind, so light reaches the pearl from both sides rather than only from the front.
An oval bail loop and jump ring at the crown carry the pendant square to the chest. The pearl sits proud of the silver, so keep it clear of perfume and let it be the last thing you put on.
