Description
The head is cast Adi Shiva's side profile, with the jata gathered and knotted high, a crescent set into the coil and a cobra rising behind the ear. A second serpent runs across the base of the neck and closes the composition along the bottom edge.
The oxidised finish is polished back across the brow and the cheek, so the face stays bright while the hair and the scales keep their darkened lines. The cutting is fine through the earring, the eye and the individual strands, and it holds at this scale.
A plain oval bail on a jump ring sits above the crown of the head. The pendant hangs square to the chest and passes over most everyday chains.
